I am an experienced curriculum developer in higher education with a background being a lecturer and assistant professor in graduate universities in Asia. On the gaming side of things I have competed at a high level in both Counter Strike and Hearthstone. I did my undergraduate work here at Akron in Secondary Education, my M. ED work at The University of Southern California with a focus in Linguistics, and my doctoral work in educational leadership at Youngstown State University.

Growing up I was always known as the kid who's good at every video game. As I got older I narrowed my esport titles down to Smash Bros. and Call of Duty. I eventually got the opportunity to compete at the varsity level for both esports titles at The University of Akron. While competing, I've worked with several charities, high schools, and esports facilities to help grow their programs. With my professional background in esports and love for all kinds of video games, I plan to improve the college student esports experience.

From a young age, I've loved games, and I've been coaching high-level players since I was in high school. I went to college for education, and combined with my passion for strategy and tactics, I'm now blessed to coach the incredibly talented Valorant and Overwatch rosters at The University of Akron. Much of my time at Akron has been spent building new systems designed to help our players and teams succeed, including the development of a 10-man roster across our Valorant rosters and a 33-page competitive playbook.

I graduated from Miami University, where I founded the Rainbow Six: Siege program, which I helped lead to multiple Grand Finals and ran for the entirety of my undergraduate. For the past two years, I have been the Head Esports Coach at Bluffton University, singlehandedly managing the program, recruiting, and running the day-to-day operations. I have also worked with some amazing companies in the Esports space such as FACEIT, MSI, and Space Productions to gain extensive knowledge of many of the different areas of the collegiate esports scene.
