The mission of the School of Performing Arts is to serve three core pillars:
- Education - To provide rigorous, holistic, and experiential curricula for students in performing arts, including arts management, dance, and music.
- Leadership - To cultivate an appreciation of the performing arts and prepare individuals for leadership in their respective field.
- Community Engagement - To provide opportunities for UA students to engage with performing arts while serving as a cultural resource for the university and community at large.
