Scholarships
There is a critical shortage of registered nurses in the United States. To meet the current demand and address future needs, UA’s School of Nursing offers numerous pathways for students to become registered nurses. Scholarships, fellowships and loans are so important in easing the financial burden of attaining a quality education in nursing at the baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels.
Capital Projects
The School of Nursing is housed in Mary Gladwin Hall, where facility improvements and renovations will help the college continue to expand its community outreach and nursing care opportunities for our students.
Endowments
Endowed funds for scholarships, chairs and lecture series give UA’s School of Nursing a competitive advantage in recruiting the most gifted students and faculty, while expanding its areas of excellence, strong programming and research opportunities.
Special Projects
The Simulation Center and Birthing Suite — made possible by our generous donors — is but one example of the type of project that enhances our program. The center provides our nursing students with early opportunities to put the skills they learn in class into practice, giving them greater preparation for working in a clinical setting with real patients.
