Student Nurses' Association (SNA)
The Student Nurses Association (SNA) is open to all students in the baccalaureate program and students intending to major in nursing.
The purpose of the association is to provide a closer bond and a more unified spirit among students and faculty in order to further the ideals and purposes of the School of Nursing. The SNA provides opportunities to become more involved with the University of Akron, the School of Nursing, professional organizations, and the Akron Community.
The functions are to promote and maintain high educational standards and to provide an arena for exchange of ideas. Creativity, self-expression as well as participation in group activities are paramount for club members. The Student Nurses Association encourages membership and involvement in the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA).
Meeting Minutes are available on Brightspace in the Nursing Student Affairs content area.
