GENERAL EDUCATION

TIER II: DISCIPLINARY AREA COURSES

All students are required to complete 9 credits of Arts and Humanities courses for General Education--at least one Humanities course and at least one Arts course.  The second Arts or Humanities course may be in the same department or in a different one.  The following Philosophy courses can be used to help meet the Humanities requirement:

All students are required to complete one course in each of four areas:  Critical Thinking, Complex Systems Affecting Individuals in Society, Domestic Diversity, and Global Diversity.  Some tagged courses also fulfill General Education disciplinary area requirements or requirements in the majors.
