Chapter Bio:
We are the Eta chapter of Delta Gamma and proud to be the oldest existing chapter of Delta Gamma. Our chapter was chartered on the campus of the University of Akron in 1879. Our philanthropy is service to the blind and visually impaired and also Joining Forces which is a program in which we work with visually impaired veterans. Our sign is the anchor and our flower is the cream color rose. We strive to live by the highest ideals and morals as seen in article two of the Delta Gamma constitution which reads:
"The objects of this Fraternity shall be to foster high ideals of friendship among college women, to promote their educational and cultural interests, to create in them a true sense of social responsibility and to develop in them the best qualities of character."
