Mock Semester

The Workday Implementation project team held a Mock Semester Event the first week of February 2024.

Mock Semester provided an opportunity for participants to practice business functions in Workday as part of the preparations for go-live.   Multiple scenarios were included to simulate activities across a semester, including Registration.  More than 160 students, faculty, and staff attended the three-day event!

Event participants shared valuable feedback on activities and training materials.  Over 90% of attendees shared that the Mock Semester event was an engaging way to learn more about Workday.  The majority of student attendees reported being excited for the new system and found it to be visually appealing and easy to navigate.  More opportunities will be provided to learn about the Workday system with upcoming training, which will include self-paced resources, videos, instructor-led content, and more.  See the Training tab for more information!
