Evaluation of Foreign Education Credentials

International students who are admitted and enroll at The University of Akron will automatically receive a $300 scholarship to support the cost of the NACES evaluation. Please note that the $300 scholarship will be applied to the account. Evaluation of Foreign Credentials College level work completed outside of the U.S. requires a course-by-course evaluation by a NACES-accredited credential evaluation service. Preferred evaluation services include TEC; World Education Services (WES); Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), IEE. Account creation instructions for each service can be found within the applicant's portal. When ordering your credential evaluations be sure to designate The University of Akron as the recipient of all the credential evaluations. The electronic evaluation report will be delivered directly to The University of Akron.

As a part of your application to The University of Akron, you are required to submit a credential evaluation of your foreign education credentials. You may wish to consider using one of the NACES member companies listed below.
