School of Nursing events and news
The University of Akron School of Nursing is a vibrant place. Throughout the academic year, the School sponsors numerous events to advance the nursing profession.
These include the Annual Distinguished Lecture held yearly in the spring, along with Nursing Breakfast held each May in conjunction with National Nurses' Week.
The School of Nursing is also actively engaged with the University of Akron to promote its Rethinking Race programming each year.
